Altered Notepads...2 Versions!

This altered notepad is made from double-sided decorative scrapbook paper. Here is the cover view

View of inside, with a small pocket on the left.

This version is made from a file folder. It is much sturdier, so I like this version better. I also have a ribbon closure that holds this all together.

Inside view....also with a pocket on the left.

Red Handsewn Journal

Yellow Variety Mini Album

Pages in this album were created from very watching very talented scrapbookers on YouTube. I made the album so long ago, I wish I could say which page I made after watching what specific person's video!!! Unfortunately, the pages were all made at different times &  eventually I mixed them together to make this album! Pages are also made up of small treat bags...and I know I also learned to alter these off of more brilliant YouTubers!! What I do remember is that the people were/are super talented & inspired me to learn new things !!

Another view of the front cover. As you can probably see on the right side there is a flap that folds around. I secured it with a binder clip! Small window cut into front cover peeking through to the first page (which is made from a small treat bag)! Album is binded with simple ribbon which are pulled through eyelets in each page and the covers.

Top view of pages...can see that some pages have flaps that open out. The black pages with white polka dots are actually the small treat bags.
Page with a flap that lifts up to reveal a pocket.

This page has flaps that open both up and down. The flap that opens down is actually a pocket.
Another page with 2 flaps...one up & one down. Only the bottom fold is open in this pic. The top flap is actually a pocket, like the last pic.
On the left is a pocket on the back of the page with the 2 flaps.

Various Pages MME Junk Journal

Paris Pockets, Tags and Flaps Album

Front cover of my blue, green & turquoise Paris themed cardstock album.
Left & Right pages have pockets & tags.
Left page has a belly band with a folded tag tucked under it. Right page is a library pocket with a tag.
Left page has a corner pocket & some tags. Right page has a small pocket along border of page...also with tags.
This is actually a flap from the right page lifted up to reveal a pocket on the back side of flap.
More corner pockets & regular pockets.
Right page shows a flap in the lifted position.
More pockets
Left page is another flap. Right page is a crisscross pocket with tags.
Top view of the pages.
Small bottom page border pocket on left and another belly band with a folded tag on the right.
This large tag/page insert (on left) has a belly band across it...under which more smaller tags fit nicely. Right page is a typical pocket ...with a printable of my favorite thing...The Eiffel Tower !!

MME Junk Journal Album

Front Cover. It is meant to close with a ribbon closure. I also had to use the mini clothespin to hold it properly shut.
A view of some of the inside pages. The paper is a mix of all MME double sided decorative paper. The pages are a hodgepodge of shapes & sizes...no real look I was going for. Truly a junk journal I think!!
Above, on the right...you can notice the front flap that wraps around to the front cover. You can see I've got some tags slipped under some belly bands and even a tag as a page in above pic.
Above you can see the varying page sizes. Here is a page with a pocket & a tag in it.
Another little pocket "thingy" above.
This view looks directly into the middle of the pages...on the right hand side you have a clear view of the flap that wraps around to the front. This is part of the front cover ribbon closure above.
Above is a view of a page that has a large flap that opens. Most of them do!! I've also taken small paper scraps & made into simple tabs for some pages.
Above on the left hand side...the pink/brown page with the tab actually folds down. On the right is a smaller page with another pocket & tag.
Above you can see a page that has a large flap that lifts up (on the left). On the right is a simple page with a tiny corner belly band thing & a tag tucked inside.
Here you can see some of my simple page "tabs"
A view of the spine and top view of the pages. I wrapped some bakers twine around each  "section" of cardstock pages. I know in book making there is an official name for these "sections"...I'm just having a brain fart!! As you can see I used lots of ribbon in this album...on pages...with tags...I was going through a ribbon phase!!

Quick Beach Themed Cardstock Scraps Mini Album

Did some punching on the edges & corners of the pages to add a little visual interest.
Minimal embellishments as you can see. On the left page above, just added a small journaling card. The small banners on the right page above were just quickly made from cardstock scraps to add a little something to the page.
Added some more...slightly larger...journaling cards above. Made the decorative banners on the above right hand page out of more cardstock scraps from a a different paper line & added them in as some color contrast. Could also be a place to add journaling.

I love the surfboard paper on the above left hand page. Added in the small journaling card  here, as well as on the right. A 3rd journaling card is tucked inside a small flap I added to the above right hand side of the page.
