Reviving Old Albums Take 1: Paris Blues Junk Journal

Today I took a bunch more pics of my recently completed albums in order to post on my VERY slowly progressing blog. Before I did so, I took a quick look at exactly which albums I've already blogged about (so I could see if I left any of these poor guys out!) Well, it turns out I haven't posted much at all & I've left oodles and oodles of older albums & junk journals out of my blog!! These are albums I've already photographed, but simply moved on to the next thing without giving them their proper chance to be showcased online! All that being said, I'm now determined to ensure all of my poor neglected albums get their pics online, with some blogging to go with! Most of these albums are packed away carefully in boxes, having completed them months and, even years ago. I will do my best to describe each one, as I work from my overfilled memory!!
This album is not one of my favorites (I actually forgot it's existence until I found the pics...YIKES!) but as I look through the pics, I'm not sure exactly WHY it's not one of my favs. It's certainly not one of my LEAST favs....in fact, I think it's growing on me with each picture I review!! I went with an unusual theme...PARIS...lol...as you may know/will come to realize...I am obsessed with all things Paris!! I love including french ephemera in my albums and junk journals and, thanks to The Graphics Fairy, I have a never ending supply of French Themed printables to include in my albums for years to come!! This one is another junk journal and I've affectionately named it my Paris Blues Junk Journal!! Now for a closer look at some of my favorite pages:

Starting with the middle of the album, as I can't seem to locate cover pics, here is an envelope. I've printed the flourish directly on the back of the envelope & used some card stock to add a small banner embellishment. The pack of these envelopes and cards were only $1 at my local Dollar Valley Store!!!

On the left is a library pocket. On the right is a coordinating file folder, which I've cut up into smaller pages/pieces to fit my junk journal.

On the left is a printed image from the web. On the right is the card that came with the card/envelope set I mentioned above. Actually it was a set of invitations, so I've just covered up with  preprinted "invite" section with a piece of card stock. See, it's all coming back to me!!! lol

On the left is another envelope with printing. On the right is scraps of card stock.

Love this page on the right! It's card stock with some fussy cut butterflies and some ephemera added to it.  If you look closely, you can see I've used my punches on some of the corners of the card stock pages. I love doing this versus a plain straight edge. Just adds that bit of visual interest!

Love these above pages with the butterfly & Eiffel Towel printed on some card stock!

On the left is a piece of that earlier mentioned file folder, to which I've added a small tag & some ephemera.

As you can see, I vary my card stock and patterned paper sizes to add interest. It also helps me to use my scraps!

On the left is another library pocket.

Again, the Paris file folder cut down...this time I glued against a plain blue file folder scrap to make a pocket.

I still have yet to find pics of the front or back cover. I will be sure to add in if I come across! Stay tuned for Take 2 of the Old Albums. I haven't even decided which one to feature next!!!
